With three bedrooms in the main house, plus an adjoining annex that sleeps two, the property is sure to accommodate any sort of getaway for family or friends alike. The house is equipped with a spacious living room and dining room that are perfect for gatherings or board games in front of the floor to ceiling fireplace, as well as a TV room upstairs that is ideal for a movie night. Apfel Haus is only a fifteen minute drive from the main town of Eastsound, but for those who opt for cooking in rather than eating out, the house offers a completely stocked chef's kitchen. A guest highlight is always the proximity of Apfel Haus to the animals of Slanted Apple Farm. Guests can go any time and interact with any of our six goats, four ducks, or 44 chickens. They are guaranteed to love the company! Renters at Apfel Haus are also welcome to collect fresh organic and free-range chicken eggs from our hens during the day. Even more, guests from May to September have access to our vegetable garden to nibble and harvest what is in season. No matter what the occasion, Apfel Haus is sure to offer superb accommodations for an Orcas Island getaway.
